Quilting kits and craft kits are a wonderful way to simplify your craft and hobby time!   Pattern and materials are all combined for you and ready to go for cutting and construction. The pieces are NOT pre-cut for you, as our kits do assume that you have had some experience cutting with a rotary cutter, mat and ruler.  If you are a first time beginner, without any expeience or knowledge of today's cutting and quilting techniques, we recommend that you also purchase a "Learn to quilt" book, such as "Start Quilting with Alex Anderson" (available on our website, click here) And/or, it never hurts to take a beginning class or find someone to work with  who has done this before for your first time. 

  Another quick way to work with an inexpensive kit is by purchasing five yards of pre-coordinated fabric from our 5 Yard Shop and one of our 5 Yard Patterns, and you then also have an instant quilt kit!  Enjoy!
